- 9h00: Appointment in Frac Champagne-Ardenne for a breakfast briefing (mountain of crescents…), constitution of the teams, distribution of the pieces to be gathered the grapes. - 10h00: Departure for the grape harvest with foot, in bus or car. - 14h00: Delivery of the grapes in Frac Champagne-Ardenne for a manual pressing. - 20h00: A "cochelet" offered to the vintagers (the famous meal of end of grape harvest during which Nicolas Boulard will invite us to taste various vintages that it already produced such as the Vintage 2001, the Insane Wine, H2O and another Diagonal of insane). Here a small arithmetic calculation is essential… 2kg grape make it possible to produce one liter of wine. We have 58 pieces, if we collect 2 kg per piece, we obtain 116 kg of grape, which enables us to produce approximately 155 bottles or 310 half-bottles. (I prefer to produce half-bottles, thus one can consume one and keep the other of them). Attention, in a preoccupation with a quality, it acts well to gather the grapes fresh grape, sold with the ray fruit and vegetables and not of dryed grapes, ray pastry making, or grape limps about it with the ray preserves, and even less grape juice of the ray drink. |
